Voice Lessons
Vocal instruction includes a 30-minute lesson. Materials include folk songs, classical (English and foreign language), musical theater and popular music selections. Repertoire is tailored to a student's own interest and abilities. Lessons are recorded onto student's device or burned to CD for practice.
Students learn proper vocal technique as well as stage presence and expression.
Voice students are encouraged to begin study around age 10. Adult students are welcome.
Students may perform in recitals 3 times per year as well as participate in MMTA (Minnesota Music Teachers Association) testing and contests. Students often perform duets or ensembles with friends and are accompanied by Ms. Donovan.
